By using this website and/or the Locally Account, you agree to these terms. If you keep using this website after we change them, you accept the new version.
Browse and read our content, contact us through our contact forms, and share links to our pages.
Use our website for anything illegal, attempt to gain unauthorised access to or damage our website, copy our content for commercial use, or send spam through our contact forms.
Our original content on this website (text, images, logos) belongs to us, except where it belongs to third parties. Third-party content, trademarks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
When you contact us, we'll only use your details to reply to you. We won't send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
The information on our website is for guidance only. We try to keep it accurate, but things can change and you shouldn't rely on it for important decisions.
These Terms and Conditions also apply to your use of the Locally Account platform.
Before you can use your Locally Account, you'll be asked to actively accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy when you sign in. If we publish a new version of either, you'll be asked to accept it the next time you sign in.
You can close your Locally Account at any time from Settings. If you own a team, have added Locally Runbooks that a team still uses, or are the contact for an open team issue, you'll need to hand those over to another member or remove them first; if you're the only member of a team, that means deleting the team. Closing your account removes your account data, as described in our Privacy Policy, and ends access for any installations signed in with it. If you'd like a copy of your data first, get in touch and we'll send it to you.
A separate set of Terms and Conditions applies to the Locally application itself. You accept those when you first run locally setup.
We aim to keep the website and the Locally Account available, working well and up to date, but we can't promise they'll always be online, error-free or perfectly accurate.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not responsible for: business decisions you make based on information on our website; the website or the Locally Account being temporarily unavailable; or any costs you incur because a tool wasn't correctly configured to work with Locally.
This website is free to read, and creating and using a Locally Account is currently free during Public Preview - a free Starter plan will continue to be available after general availability. We've set the limit below to reflect that: on a free plan the cap will be a nominal one pound, and on a paid plan it'll be the fees you've paid us over the previous twelve months.
Our overall liability to you in connection with this website and the Locally Account is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the issue arose and (b) one pound sterling (£1). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law - including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence - and your consumer rights under UK law aren't affected by these terms.
Locally is an independent product, and isn't offered by, associated with or endorsed by Microsoft or any other company mentioned on this website. Microsoft, Azure, Microsoft Entra and related marks are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation, and other trademarks belong to their respective owners.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when we last changed them. If you keep using this website after a change, you accept the new version. For the Locally Account it works differently: you'll be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in, and if a change materially affects you, we'll let you know inside your Locally Account or by email before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with them will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
Together with our Privacy Policy and, if you use the Locally application, our Locally CLI Terms & Conditions, these terms are the whole agreement between us about this website and the Locally Account. If you've signed a separate agreement with us, for example for an Enterprise plan, that agreement applies too, and takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts will still apply.
We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (such as natural disasters, strikes, network outages, or failures of upstream providers).
This website and the Locally Account are operated by Locally Build Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16453819), with its registered address at 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU.
